Start with NCERT — No Shortcuts
Every NEET topper will tell you the same thing: NCERT is the Bible. Read it line by line — every diagram caption, every table, every footnote. NEET 2024 had 45+ questions directly from NCERT text.
"I read NCERT Biology 7 times before the exam. Each read felt like finding new gold." — Aryan Mehta, NEET 2024 AIR 23
The 3-Phase Preparation Plan
Break your preparation into three distinct phases:
- Phase 1 (June–October): Complete syllabus coverage. Focus on understanding concepts deeply, not rote memorization.
- Phase 2 (November–February): Revision + PYQ solving. Attempt all previous 10 years' papers under exam conditions.
- Phase 3 (March–May): Mock tests, error analysis, and weak area drilling.
Subject-Wise Weightage
Understanding the weightage helps you allocate time effectively:
- Biology (Botany + Zoology): 360 marks — your scoring powerhouse. Do NOT neglect it.
- Physics: 180 marks — focus on mechanics, thermodynamics, and optics for quick gains.
- Chemistry: 180 marks — organic chemistry + biomolecules are the most scoring.
Daily Schedule That Works
Our top performers follow a structured daily schedule:
- 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Biology reading (NCERT)
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Coaching class / self-study Physics
- 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Chemistry problems + PYQs
- 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Revision + notes making
- 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Light reading / doubt clearing
The Mock Test Strategy
Mock tests are non-negotiable. Attempt at least 2 full mocks per week from December onwards. More importantly, spend twice the test duration analyzing your mistakes. Error analysis is where actual learning happens.
Final Words
Consistency beats intensity. A student who studies 8 focused hours daily for a year will always outperform someone who pulls all-nighters. Trust the process, trust your preparation, and trust your coaching. RMP Classes is with you every step of the way. đź’Ş
