Why Physics Feels Hard (And Why It Isn't)
Most students struggle with Physics not because they don't know the formulas, but because they don't know where to start. Physics is about visualization, not just calculation.
The G-F-S-A Framework
Our toppers use this 4-step framework for every single numerical:
- G (Given): Write down every value provided in the question. Convert all units to SI immediately.
- F (Find): Clearly state what the question is asking for. Sometimes there are hidden variables you need to find first.
- S (Strategy): Identify which concept applies. Is it Conservation of Energy? Newton's Second Law? Kirchhoff's Junction Rule?
- A (Apply): Plugin the values and solve. Keep your calculations clean.
Avoid the 'Formula Trap'
Don't just memorize formulas. Understand the derivation. JEE Advanced often asks questions where the standard formula doesn't apply directly because the conditions are slightly different.
"Once I understood the logic behind the formula, I didn't have to 'remember' anything. It just made sense." — Sarthak, IIT Delhi Aspirant
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Unit Mismatch: Mixing cm and meters is the #1 cause of wrong answers.
- Vector Ignorance: Forgetting that force and velocity have directions.
- Calculations in the middle: Don't calculate decimal values until the very end to avoid rounding errors.
